Cookie Policy
Every cookie and storage key this site can set, who sets it, what it is for, how long it lasts and whether it needs your consent. Nothing on the site stops working if you decline.
Cookies and local storage are not the same thing
A cookie is a small piece of text your browser sends back to a server with every request to that domain, which is why cookies are the usual way of tracking. Local storage is a store inside your browser that is never sent with requests, so no server can read it. Most of what this site keeps is the second kind.
Strictly necessary: no consent needed
The ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR allow storage that is strictly necessary for something you asked for without consent.

The site's host, Hostinger, sets no cookie. It does keep server logs of each request, which the privacy policy describes.

These stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. yt_history holds a short preview of what you entered, so treat it like browser history on a shared computer. The site has no service worker and no offline cache.
Analytics: only with your consent

These are set only after you choose "Accept" and are deleted when you choose "Decline". What Google Analytics collects, and why, is listed in the privacy policy. Nothing you type into a tool or the search box is included.
Advertising
The site shows no ads and sets no advertising cookie. If that changes, the advertising cookies will be listed here first and the cookie notice will ask about them separately.
How consent is handled
- Nothing before you answer. Every visitor, in every country, sees the notice on arrival. Until you answer, the page makes no request to Google: no script, no cookie, no ping.
- Two equal answers. "Decline" and "Accept (I am 18 or over)", the same size and style, with nothing chosen for you. If you are under 18, please choose Decline.
- Decline deletes. Choosing Decline, now or later, stops collection at once and deletes the
_gacookies from every level of this domain. - Withdraw at any time. "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page reopens the notice.
- Google follows your answer. We pass it to Google through Consent Mode v2:
analytics_storageis granted only after Accept, and the advertising signals (ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalization) are always denied.
The legal standard. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, anything not strictly necessary needs consent first. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, consent must be free, specific, informed and given by a clear affirmative action, and as easy to withdraw as to give. The notice is built to meet both.
Controlling cookies yourself
Change your mind on this site
Open Cookie settings, which is linked at the foot of every page, and choose again. If you accepted analytics, the notice also shows your analytics ID: copy it before choosing Decline if you want Google's records for your browser erased, and send it to hello@yourstools.com.
Remove everything
Your browser's site data controls remove every cookie and storage key this site has set, in one step:
- Chrome and Edge: click the icon to the left of the address, then Site settings, then Delete data.
- Firefox: click the padlock, then Clear cookies and site data.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
Clearing site data also removes yt_consent, so the notice appears again on your next visit.
What we do not use
- No advertising, no social media pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok or others) and no Google Tag Manager.
- No session recording or heatmap tools.
- No third-party CDN for our scripts or fonts.
- No fingerprinting.
Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, this page changes and the "Last updated" date moves. The privacy policy covers what data we hold and your rights over it. Questions: hello@yourstools.com.
