If one of our calculators gives you an answer you believe is wrong, we want to know. A wrong formula on a page that hundreds of people use every week is the most important bug we can have.

What we can help with
A calculation that looks wrong
This is the one we prioritise. Every tool on this site implements a published formula, and where several conventions exist we document which one we used. If your figure disagrees with a bank statement, a textbook, or another calculator, one of three things is true: we have a bug, we are using a different convention, or the inputs are not comparable. All three are worth a message, and the second two often mean our documentation needs to be clearer.
A tool we do not have
We take requests seriously, with one constraint: everything on this site runs in your browser, so we cannot build anything that needs live external data. Currency conversion at today's rate, share prices, WHOIS records and real backlink data all require a server, and we do not have one. If your request fits within client-side computation, tell us and it goes on the list.
Accessibility problems
We target WCAG 2.2 AA and test contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader labelling. We do not catch everything. If a tool is unusable with a screen reader, a control cannot be reached by keyboard, or text is too faint to read, that is a defect and we will treat it as one.
Privacy and legal questions
Our privacy policy covers what we collect, which is very little, and our article on client-side processing explains how you can verify that yourself. If something is unclear or you want to exercise a data right under GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA, write to us and say so explicitly.
Business and advertising
Partnership, sponsorship and advertising enquiries are welcome. Please include what you are proposing and which pages it concerns in the first message. We do not respond to unspecified "collaboration opportunities".
What to include in a bug report
Most reports we cannot act on are missing the same three things. If you include these, we can usually reproduce the problem in a couple of minutes:
- The tool name or the page URL. "The loan calculator" is ambiguous: we have several.
- The exact values you entered, including units. This is the single most useful item, because most disagreements turn out to be a units or convention difference rather than an arithmetic error.
- The result you got and the result you expected, and where the expected figure came from: a bank statement, a textbook, another site.
Helpful but optional: your browser and operating system (relevant for layout and file-handling issues), and whether the problem happens every time or only sometimes.
What is not useful, and please do not send it: screenshots of documents containing personal or financial information. We do not need your actual salary, account number or medical data to reproduce a formula bug. Representative numbers work just as well and nobody has to worry about what happens to the real ones.
What we cannot do
Some requests arrive regularly that we have to decline, so it is fairer to say so up front:
- We cannot give financial, medical, legal or tax advice. Our tools compute; they do not advise. We are not licensed to do the latter and will not pretend otherwise. If you need advice on a decision, please speak to a qualified professional.
- We cannot interpret your results for you. We can explain what a formula does and what it assumes. We cannot tell you whether a loan is affordable or what a health metric means for you specifically.
- We cannot recover your inputs. Because everything runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted to us, we have no record of what you calculated. If you closed the tab, it is gone. Use the Copy Link button, which stores the inputs in the URL.
- We do not accept guest posts or link exchanges. Every article on this site is written in-house, and we do not sell links.

Fields marked required must be filled in. Please do not include passwords, account numbers or other sensitive data in the message.
Our web form is not currently accepting submissions, so please email us instead: hello@yourstools.com. We would rather point you at a working address than show you a form that quietly discards your message.
Please put the tool name in the subject line, and include the three items listed under what to include in a bug report above.
Our corrections policy
When we get a formula wrong, we fix the tool and say so. If the error was significant, a wrong result rather than a rounding difference, we add a note to the page recording what was wrong, when it was corrected, and what the correct method is. Silently changing a number and hoping nobody noticed is not a policy we are willing to operate.
