What the education tools cover
The education calculators deal with grades and the arithmetic around them: GPA from a list of courses, CGPA across semesters, a weighted course grade from assessments, the marks needed on a final to reach a target, letter-grade conversion, percentile rank within a class, attendance percentage and how many sessions can still be missed, an exam countdown, a school grade level from a birth date, and a thesis word counter with a page estimate.
Grading scales are the trap. A 4.0 scale, a 10-point CGPA, a percentage and a letter grade are all in use, often at the same institution for different purposes, and the conversion between them is a convention rather than a fact. Each page states the scale it assumes. Check it against your own handbook before relying on a converted figure, especially for anything that goes on an application.
Practical notes
- Weightings move a final grade more than people expect. Enter them exactly as the syllabus gives them.
- The plagiarism estimator compares two texts you paste. It is not a database check and cannot find matches on the web.
- Nothing is stored between visits. Copy the link if you want to come back to the same numbers.
