How does the QR Code Generator work?
Each output is derived from the inputs above in a single pass; there is no hidden state carried between runs, so the same inputs always give the same generated output.
Each field is verified before use; failures are reported explicitly rather than swallowed.
What a typical run looks like
You provide: Text or URL, Size, Error correction, Foreground, Background and Centre logo (optional, PNG/JPG/SVG)
What happens: the file is read into memory by your browser, processed locally, and offered back as a download. It is never uploaded.
You get back: a new file plus a brief account of what happened to it, shown in the panel.
How long this takes is a property of your computer, not of our infrastructure, and file size is bounded by browser memory.

How to use it
- Paste your content into Text or URL.
- Pick a value for Size: the options are Small (256px), Medium (512px) or Large (1024px).
- Pick a value for Error correction: the options are Low (7%: smallest code), Medium (15%: recommended), Quartile (25%) or High (30%: most robust).
- Fill in Foreground.
- Type Background.
- Choose your file under Centre logo (optional, PNG/JPG/SVG), or drag it onto the drop area.
- Press Generate QR.
- Check Status on the right.
- To keep the result, either copy the link or print the page. Both preserve what is on screen.
What this tool does not do
- Results are informational and should be checked against an authoritative source where it matters.
- Comparisons across tools can differ where each uses a slightly different definition.
- Large files are limited by your available memory, not by an upload quota.
